Privacy Policy

What we do not collect

This app sends no personal information to the developer or to any third party. There is no account to create, and no advertising, analytics or tracking SDK is included.

Videos and photos

Access to your photo library is used only to list and play your videos. The app never copies a video or an image into itself, and never uploads one anywhere. Still photos are not read at all.

So the list appears instantly, small frame images generated from your videos are kept in the app's cache on the device. They stay on the device and can be deleted at any time from Settings in the app.

What the app records

Only positions:

• the resume position (how far you watched)
• starred positions and their star count (1–3)
• positions of scene cuts found while playing
• the position of the frame chosen as the key frame
• how many times a video was played

Each record also stores the photo library identifier, original file name and capture date of the video, so the app can find the same video again later.

iCloud sync

Those records are stored in Apple iCloud, in your own private database, and sync between devices signed in to the same Apple Account. The developer cannot see this data. Without iCloud, the app works on the device alone.

Changes to your photo library

From the app you can favorite (♥), hide or delete a video. These go through the standard iOS mechanisms and are reflected in the Photos app. Deletion always asks first and moves the video to Recently Deleted.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 — it collects no personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated.
