RESUME MASTER
FOR IPHONE · iOS 18+

Where you stopped,
and the moments
you loved.

Resume Master lays out the videos in your iPhone photo library like strips of film: the top tier is the timeline, the lower tier holds the frames that matter. For picking up where you left off — and for watching that one moment again.

What it does

SIX FUNCTIONS
01
Pick up where you stopped

Every video remembers its resume position, ready in the list. It clears itself once you reach the end.

02
Star moments ★1–3

Press a star while playing; press the same star again to remove it. Each one becomes a frame in the list.

03
Scene cuts

While you watch, the app spots where the picture changes a lot and marks the cut.

04
Play across videos

Play only the starred moments, 5 seconds to 30 minutes each. Videos without stars start where you stopped.

05
Speed and jumps

0.25× slow motion up to 3×. Jump to the next star, the next video, or skip 5 and 10 seconds.

06
Choose the key frame

Any frame can become the one shown in the list. Works with the heart in Photos, too.

The list — one video, one film strip

The upper tier is the whole video as a timeline: thin white lines are scene cuts, cyan is where you stopped, pink is a star. The lower tier shows the frame at each of those positions (stars carry their number) — tap to play from there, long-press to change or remove a star. Each row is backed by a blurred still of its own video, so one video reads as one block.

Playback — every control below the picture

Controls never cover the picture — they live in the panel below: skip 5 or 10 seconds, ★1–3 (press again to remove), set the key frame, a scrubber marked with stars and cuts, jumps to the next star or video, and speeds from 0.25× to 3×. The panel folds down to stars-and-speed, or to a single corner.

Starred frames — like a contact sheet

Every starred moment as a three-column contact sheet. Filter by ★3, ★2+ or all, then play them one after another across videos — 5 seconds to 30 minutes each, or until you press next. Below, your videos ranked by stars and plays.

As many marks as you like, in one video

ONE ROLL

Below is a single 48-second video seen from above. This one holds two ★1 marks, three ★3 marks and five scene cuts. There is no limit to how many you add.

Any number per video

Two ★1s and three ★3s can live in the same video. The row header counts them, so you can read the contents without opening it.

|
The line is where, the frame is what

The thin line marks the position on the timeline, the frame below shows the picture there — joined by a line, so you can see whether it is early or late in the video. The thick cyan line is where you stopped.

▶
Play ★3 only, or ★2 and up

Step through just the three ★3 spots in this video, or play them together with every other ★3 you have. Each spot lasts 5 seconds to 30 minutes, or until you press next.

✂
Cuts appear on their own

The thin white lines are cuts the app found while you watched. Even a video with no stars can be navigated by them.

Play only the starred moments

STAR FLOW

A star marks a moment worth coming back to. Put as many as you like in one video; each appears as a frame in the list, and they can be played one after another across every video.

01
Star it while you watch

Press ★1, ★2 or ★3 at the moment you like. Three levels let you later pick “★3 only” or “★2 and up”. Press the same star again to remove it, or long-press a frame to change its level.

02
It lands in the list as a frame

The star appears as a pink line on that video’s timeline, with its frame right below it (carrying the star number). A connecting line shows where in the video it sits. Tap the frame to play from there, long-press to remove it; the row header also counts the stars.

Play them across every video

The play button at the bottom opens the setup: which stars to use (★1/★2/★3 on or off), whether to include hearted videos only, how long to watch each spot (5 seconds to 30 minutes, or until you press next), and the order (all stars in one video, then the next — or fully shuffled). Videos without stars start at their resume position. The contact sheet offers the same reel for ★3 only or ★2 and up.
