Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in ScrollAlbum (the "App"), an iOS application published by an independent developer (the "Developer"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
2. What the developer does not collect
The App has no developer-operated server. The Developer never receives any of the following:
- Personally identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number
- Account information — the App has no sign-up or login
- Your photos and videos, the albums you create from them, or the videos you export
- Data from other apps, such as contacts, calendars, or health information
All image analysis performed by the App — for example, choosing stamps that match what is in a photo — happens entirely on your iPhone. Images are never sent elsewhere to be analyzed.
3. Access to photos and videos
Because of what it does, the App needs permission to access your photo library. iOS will ask you for this the first time you use it. You can change the permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
What the App reads
- Metadata for photos and videos within the date range you choose (capture time, location, media type, camera information)
- Thumbnail images for on-screen display
- Image data for the photos and videos included when you export a video
When the App writes
The App requests read/write access to your photo library. Write access is used only when you personally perform one of these actions:
- Rotating a photo
- Toggling a photo's Favorite status
- Saving an exported video (MP4) to your photo library
How photos are stored
The App does not copy or keep your photos. It records only the identifier that iOS assigns to each photo (its local identifier) in the App's own database, and loads the image from your photo library each time it needs to display it. As a result, if you delete the original photo in the Photos app, it also disappears from your ScrollAlbum album.
4. How location data is handled
The App does not use your device's location services (GPS). You will never see a location permission prompt from this App.
Maps and place names are built from the capture location already recorded inside your photos. That information was embedded when the photo was taken; the App does not acquire anything new.
To turn a capture location into a city or country name, and to display maps, coordinates are sent to Apple's reverse geocoding and map services (MapKit). This communication is between you and Apple; the Developer does not receive it. Apple's handling of that information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy. If a photo contains no location information, no map or place name is shown for it.
5. Data stored on your device
Everything the App creates is stored on your iPhone.

This data is not synced to iCloud. Deleting the App from your iPhone deletes all of it (the photos in your photo library are not affected).
6. Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party services. Each company handles information according to its own privacy policy.

RevenueCat processes an anonymous identifier issued by Apple along with your purchase history, so that purchases can be verified and restored. The Developer never receives personally identifying information such as your name or email address.
7. Advertising
The App displays advertising through Google AdMob. To serve those ads, Google and its partners may collect device information such as device type, OS version, approximate region, and how often ads are shown or tapped.
The App does not ask for permission to track under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT). As a result, the advertising identifier (IDFA) used to track you across other companies' apps and websites is not used.
How to remove ads: purchasing the stamp feature unlock (a one-time in-app purchase) removes advertising from the App permanently.
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and the Developer does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information, please use the contact details below.
9. How to delete your data
- Delete a single album: swipe left on it in the album list and delete it.
- Delete everything: remove the App from your iPhone. All data the App created is deleted with it.
- Revoke photo access: Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → ScrollAlbum.
Because the Developer holds none of your data, there is no need to submit a deletion request to the Developer.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised as features are added or as regulations change. If a significant change is made, it will be announced on this page and the "last updated" date will be revised.
