The list — one video, one film strip
The upper tier is the whole video as a timeline: thin white lines are scene cuts, cyan is where you stopped, pink is a star. The lower tier shows the frame at each of those positions (stars carry their number) — tap to play from there, long-press to change or remove a star. Each row is backed by a blurred still of its own video, so one video reads as one block.

Playback — every control below the picture
Controls never cover the picture — they live in the panel below: skip 5 or 10 seconds, ★1–3 (press again to remove), set the key frame, a scrubber marked with stars and cuts, jumps to the next star or video, and speeds from 0.25× to 3×. The panel folds down to stars-and-speed, or to a single corner.
Starred frames — like a contact sheet
Every starred moment as a three-column contact sheet. Filter by ★3, ★2+ or all, then play them one after another across videos — 5 seconds to 30 minutes each, or until you press next. Below, your videos ranked by stars and plays.
